Kawasaki Single-End LRV KIT

These light rail vehicles were delivered to Philadelphia's SEPTA in 1981-1982 to replace the oldest of the PCC cars then still in service. They are mostly still in service today, as SEPTA's shop forces keep them in great condition. They are slated for eventual replacement with modern low-floor cars.

IHP began producing the Kawasaki LRV in 1996 with an HO scale resin kit. Since then, we have produced both single and double-end versions in multiple scales and mediums, including a plastic HO version in China in 2013. We are commemorating 30 years of model LRV production with a onetime-run, limited-edition O scale kit. Production will be limited to no more than 20 kits!
