EMD AEM7 Body Shell

EMD built the AEM7 electric for Amtrak in the late 1970s. The AEM7 was based on Swedish technology and featured carbodies built by Budd and later by Simmering Graz-Pauker and was the backbone of Northeast Corridor operations for decades. SEPTA and MARC also acquired AEM7s for their own commuter operations.
