These cars were supplied to Philadelphia Suburban Transit's trolley lines out of 69th St. Terminal in 1949. They were not officially PCC cars because they used interurban trucks and electricals, but their bodies made use of PCC patents. The different trucks were necessary for the distances and hilly terrain they had to cover. They were retired by SEPTA in 1982. A number of them are in museums.
