Pullman-Standard ACMU 1962 Batch
The Air Conditioned Multiple Units (ACMU) were built in two batches for the New York Central's commuter operations in New York City in 1962 and 1965. The main spotting differences were in the location of the passenger windowbands (higher in the 1962 cars) and the shape of the stepwells. The cars served until 2005 when they were retired by Metro-North.
